Weekend!!
It has been a while since my last post in english.
Never mind that.
This week was a little more eventful I guess.
At least my brain was so occupied with surgery stuff that i didn't have spare time to think about other nonsense.
Mood fluctuation is not really huge therefore.
But why surgery?
YES. We suddenly came to know that we will be having a MIDSEM surgery exam, out of no where, this weekend. WELL, I didn't think of it as a really serious matter, since I am currently posted in the surgery wards, General Hospital, Melaka. On top of it, I am preparing for my end of posting for next week, simultaneously.
UNTIL...I came to realise the difference between clinics and theory. OMG i get more and more tension as the day approaches. It's hard to memorise investigations and treatment just like that. I simply can't imagine the emergency situations.
Anyway, it came out fine (i guess..i hope)
As i said, end of posting is next week, although prof is kind enough not to take us on it, I still have to work hard for it right?
So we went to the hospital after the exam, just to examine some patients and to perform some skills.
Here comes the main thing of the day.
Unlike the huzzly-buzzly busy weekdays, the hospital today is exceptionally quiet and peaceful,a perfect spot for the ills. (thanks to the students)
For the very first time, i was so keen to talk to patients, ask about their case, check their files, examine them and even talk to the nurses there. (unlike the normal me who yawned while stepping into the wards, and wear on a not-very-friendly-looking mask)
I finally found the enthusiasm in my job. I am starting to like my job.
The feeling that my existence is needed. I feel the comfort in patients when i talk to them. at the same time letting them to know that I am willing to help.
Maybe this can't be done during the weekdays. Not with medical officers around, and case presentations early in the morning.
WELL. It's natural to feel this way I guess. It's human nature to have the desire to do something which brings a POSITIVE IMPACT to others.

Just like THE BODY SHOP.
Dear friends know that I am a big fan of their products, from head to toe, from makeups to fragrances, from aromatherapy to home fragrances, from bath lily to makeup brushes.
When they start to question me about my obssesion, I start wondering. Yea, why?
Then i read about this article on them.
"Modern civilization do things to carry a positive impact to the world" says the General director.
POSITIVE IMPACT. Indeed. This matches the spirit of their founder. Dame Anita Roddick. A Human Rights Activist.
Against animal testing is one thing. But more important, the idea of community trading. Bringing hope to all four corners of the globe, including countries which we never even come across before. From areas of human and civil rights, to environmental and animal protection.
So I guess this explained my obssession. Hehe.
I still have points to redeem, and I need a new foundation.
Oh I have a 20% discount voucher for all products, expiring this feb. Anyone who fancies a favour, don't hesitate to msg me. HAHA. SPOKESMAN jor. It's hard to get a 20% off on their skin care products OK. Only once a year during member's day.
In the mood for shopping all of a sudden. But I still have six cases and 5 drawings pending arghhhh.. anyway, chinese new year is just around the corner, everyone needs a make over, and a new wardrobe, right? XD

Im feeling this all because...
SHOPAHOLIC is coming to town!! This MAY!! Love Sophie Kinsella. IM SOO looking forward to see dear Rebecca Bloomwood back in action again. This time, REAL actions, on big screen. Cool to see the preview of it, high ended brands, Manhattan, and the very gorgeous Luke Brandon.

"Wah !Girl movie, pls don't drag me along" says Chew.
